Family Movie Jamboree: Tangled & SOPA Spring Open House
February 15 in Arlington Heights

Join Metropolis School of the Performing Arts (SOPA) for Family Movie Jamboree Featuring Tangled! This event is for family and friends of all ages. Enjoy a screening of Tangled, face-painting by Thrown Elements Pottery.



Lego Train Exhibit – Arlington Heights Memorial Library
February 15 in Arlington Heights

See the amazing one-of-a-kind creations of the Northern Illinois Lego Train Club in the Hendrickson Room on the second floor. Stop by the first floor for Lego activities throughout the day.



Valentine’s Skate Night – Centennial Ice Arena
February 14 in Highland Park

Enjoy Valentine’s Day as a family skating at Centennial Ice Arena. Raffle prizes available! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults: $7/ Children: $6 Skate Rental Fee: $3.



Bear Awareness Weekend – Brookfield Zoo

You’ll “bear-ly” believe all the fun-filled activities Brookfield Zoo has in store for its annual Bear Awareness Weekend. Guests of all ages can attend special Zoo Chats about the zoo’s three species of bears—grizzly, polar, and sloth.
