Septemberfest

An outdoor festival featuring an arts & crafts show, carnival, entertainment on 3 stages, craft beer & wine tent, Taste of Schaumburg, Not-for-Profit Day, bingo, pony rides on Saturday, fireworks on Sunday evening.
Irish Days – Historic Downtown Long Grove
August 31 – September 2 in Long Grove
Cobble-stone streets get painted a fresh shade of green with bagpipers, folk bands, and Irish dancers performing non-stop throughout this outdoor event which takes place in the center of town. Free.
Brick Safari at Brookfield Zoo
August 30 – September 29 in Brookfield
Brick Safari features more than 40 life-size animal sculptures created from millions of individual colored LEGO® bricks. The menagerie of animals will be located along a winding wooded pathway on the east side of the park.
Taste of Polonia Festival 2019
August 30 – September 2 in Chicago
The Copernicus Center and grounds are filled with non-stop LIVE MUSIC, food, and activities for all ages over Labor Day Weekend! The Taste of Polonia has been a festival in Jefferson Park since 1980.
Family Skate Sunday – Triphahn Ice Arena
September 1 in Hoffman Estates
Family Skate Sunday is a weekly event for families to have fun and exercise together! The park district offers lower rates on Sundays from 1-2 p.m.. $3 admission for kids under 12 and $5 for adults.
