The West Suburban Irish’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is family-oriented, celebrating the community as a whole, the diversity of our community, and Irish-American heritage and culture.

 

 


Wearin’ o’ the Green: Magic Leather Braid – Yorkville Public Library

Tuesday, March 15, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Wow! your friends on St. Patrick’s Day and wear this beautiful, green leather magic braided bracelet or cuff that you will create with just a touch of leprechaun magic. Enjoy hearing stories of the color green, its development and significance. Registration required.

 

 


Beluga Encounter – Shedd Aquarium

March 11 – June 27, 9:45 am – 11:00 am
Get a chance to meet the belugas at Shedd right where they live! Standing side by side with a trainer on an underwater ledge, in this 75 minute experience you’ll step into chest-deep water and come face to face with a beluga whale.
