Taste of Chicago To-Go will return this summer with special events around the city — including pop-up cooking demonstrations, the return of the “Community Eats” community meals program, and other special events promoting Chicago’s amazing restaurant industry.
Unplug and Play – Hoffman Estates Park District
Saturday, July 10, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Bring the family and Unplug and Play at South Ridge Park! Enjoy a morning walk around the pond, show off your creative side during Chalk the Park and cool off in the new multi-age, three-part splash pad. Families can dash, climb and compete on ninja-style course and play on the new playground. Pre-registration is required.
All summer long 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
The Forge: Lemont Quarries, a 300-acre outdoor adventure park located 22 miles Southwest of downtown Chicago at 1001 Main Street, is inviting family, friends, coworkers, adventurers both novice and pro, and everyone in between, to the largest outdoor adventure course in North America.
Magic by Randy – Jackman Park Glenview

Bring the family and prepare to entertained by the amazing magic and comedy performance of Randy the Magician! Limited space available on a first come- first served basis at Jackman Park. Masks required. Performance subject to state Covid-19 safety guidelines. Drop in.
