Cantigny – Offers Fun for Kids
Zoom on over for 30 minutes of science and art fun for our DaVinci Kids program. Cantigny educators will bring science to you and ignite curiosity and creativity through science experiments each week that magically intersect with art.
Itasca Waterpark – Opens for the Summer
The Itasca Park District announced that the Itasca Waterpark will be open July 6 to Aug. 2. Patrons will have the opportunity to pre-purchase designated 90-minute public swim time slots online.
DuPage Children’s Museum – Summer Toy Drive
Now DuPage Children’s Museum and West Suburban Community Pantry are partnering to collect summer toys for area families in need. Donations of new summer toys will be collected at the Toy Drive on Wednesday, July 15, from 8-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. in the museum parking lot, 301 N. Washington St. in Naperville.
Naperville Park District – Free Summer Events
We are happy to announce dates and performers for these free, family-friendly events,” said Andrea Coates, superintendent of recreation. “We urge residents to review the COVID-19 Participation Guidelines for outdoor events found at www.napervilleparks.org prior to attending.
Naperville’s 95th Street Community Plaza Splash Pad set to open July 9
Families looking for a place to cool off and have fun in this hot summer weather soon will have a new place to go. The Naperville Park District recently received a license to open the splash pad at the 95th Street Community Plaza.
