Cross-Country Ski and Snowshoe Rentals – The Morton Arboretum
February 7 – March 13 in Lisle

This winter embrace the snowy season and trek through 1,700 acres of The Morton Arboretum’s winter wonderland. Seasonal rentals of cross-country skis and snowshoes are available at the Visitor Center, or visitors can bring their own equipment.

 

 


Kids Expo! – Schaumburg Convention Center
February 8-9 in Schaumburg

The longest standing Kids Expo in the Chicagoland area! Celebrating 15 years! With enough entertainment and free activities planned throughout both days, it is easy for family members of all ages to make Kids Expo an all day adventure!

 

 


Valentine Science Lab – Woodridge Public Library
February 8 in Woodridge

Love is about caring, giving, hearts and…chemistry! Bring your family and work together on some super fun Valentine’s Day inspired scientific experiments including Magic Inflating Hearts,a Love Potion Lab and Fizzing Hearts.

 

 


Family Day: Junk Monster – Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago
February 8 in Chicago

Family Days are free monthly programs for kids and their grown-ups. Enjoy free admission while taking part in workshops, open-studio sessions, gallery tours, and performances, all designed and led by Chicago artists.

 

 


Lego Club – Elk Grove Village Public Library
February 7 in Elk Grove Village

Design, create, build, and have fun! There will be a theme to follow if you choose. All materials provided. Space is limited to 32 participants. For students in grades K-5. First come, first serve. One ticket per person. All attendees must be present to receive a ticket.
