Dupage Comic Con – DuPage County Fairgrounds

That’s right folks, Mighty Con is returning to the Dupage Fairgrounds again for our first event in Chicago-land of the year! The Dupage Comic Con happening on August 28th and we’re bringing big guests.

 


Adaptive Storytime – Schaumburg Township District Library

Join us for a storytime for children with autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing issues or who are differently-abled. Register at SchaumburgLibrary.org to receive the Zoom link Program Kit.

 


Mom-Son Picnic & Putt Putt – Coyote Crossing Mini Golf

Saturday, August 28, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Moms & Sons putt putt around Coyote Crossing Mini Golf course. Finish up with a picnic lunch of hot dogs straight off the grill and yard games. Bring a picnic blanket. Pre-registration is required by 8/25 at Carol Stream Park District – csparks.org. No walk-up registrations accepted. Both Moms & Sons must be registered.

 


Taste of Greektown

Greektown Chicago’s popular Taste of Greektown festival returns for its 31st year this summer with the city’s largest celebration of Hellenic cuisine and culture, Friday, August 27 through Sunday, August 29 along Halsted Street from Adams to Van Buren.
