A celebration of community, family and 4-H
Make room for fun and happy memories at the Kane County Fair on Wednesday, July 20 through Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles, IL.
The Kane County Fair is one of the oldest and long-standing fairs in the country. “We’re proud to be 148 years and going strong,” said Larry Breon, Kane County Fair Board president. “Generations of families have walked our midway and enjoyed the excitement of fun activities.
We’re a great place where past traditions are honored and live comfortably with new ones.”
Live music entertains on the Miller Lite soundstage: The Boy Band Night, 7th Heaven, Hi-Infidelity, Hillbilly Rockstarz, Mariachi Tierra Jaliscience and Mariachi Universal.
Popular grandstand events (additional admission charge) rally the crowds with excitement, such as the Hispanic/Mexican Charredo, Professional Championship Bullriding and the Smash ‘em Bash ‘em Demolition Derby.
Daily outdoor family events are kids-pleasers, of any age, year after year: the Kane County 4-H, animal barns and competitions, the ever-popular Swifty Swine racing pigs, the Sheer Magic Show, Petting Zoo and special appearance by Ozzie of the Kane County Cougars.
Indoors in the air conditioned Prairie Events Center building, kids will be able to have loads of interactive fun. Parents can rest and cool off while the kids try shooting hoops, the batting cages, floor hockey, an obstacle course and more.
Tasty favorite fair foods are back- turkey legs, grilled chicken and burgers, fresh roasted corn, red velvet elephant ears and more! Enjoy the thrills of the carnival rides. Cheer at the grandstand events. Cool down in the Prairie Events Center building. Visit local businesses in the Commercial Expo.
“The Kane County Fair is grateful for our sponsors, too, said Breon. “We appreciate the support of Presence Saint Joseph Hospital Elgin, Presence Mercy Medical Center Aurora, Euclid Beverage, Kane County Cougars, and Golf Club of Illinois.”
The Kane County Fair is located at Randall Road and Oak Street in St. Charles. Convenient free parking!
