Touch a Truck – Blackberry Farm

Explore super-sized trucks at this FREE event held outside in Blackberry Farm’s parking lot. Admission to the park is not included. All ages welcome.
Family Fun Fest – Immanuel United Church of Christ

Fun, food, and entertainment. Family-friendly activities will include inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting, bike tune-ups by Never Ending Cycles, and more.
Lisle Depot Days – The Museums at Lisle Station Park
September 16-17 in Lisle
Petting farm, model train layout; demonstrations of blacksmithing, beekeeping and baking; old-fashioned games and contests. Free.
Bonfire and Barn Dance – Historic Wagner Farm
September 16 in Glenview
Bring your family to the farm for an evening filled with fall fun for everyone! Enjoy wagon rides, live music and dancing. Roast s’mores and listen to storytelling by the fire
Storytime: Family Storytime – Bloomingdale Public Library
September 15 in Bloomingdale
Family Storytime is designed to serve families of babies, toddlers, and/or preschoolers who want to attend morning storytime together. Children will enjoy a variety of books, flannel stories, musical activities, and/or puppets, along with a simple craft. No registration is required.
This week’s Friday Fun Five is sponsored by “Fall Fest”.
Fall Fest is presented by the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce, Des Plaines History Center, and the Des Plaines Park District. Fall Fest offers entertainment for all members of the family.
