Cardboard Regatta Boat Building Workshops – Glen Ellyn Park District

The Lake Ellyn Cardboard Regatta tests the creativity of kids and adults as they take on the challenge of building a boat made (almost) entirely of cardboard and attempt to paddle a course around scenic Lake Ellyn – before it sinks.

A cognitive and hands on interactive event that demonstrates how the Fire Service aligns with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. Science will demonstrate the Chemistry of Fire and the Physics of Water.

Teen Night at Little Beans Cafe

Kids aged 10-15 can be dropped off for some fun one night each month. They’ll enjoy the gym and karaoke room as well as our ‘after dark’ ninja course with music and disco lights. We’ll have pizza, snacks and soda.
