Touch-A-Truck – Glen Ellyn Park District
May 4 in Glen Ellyn

This is your chance to climb inside dump trucks, fire trucks, police cars, and other vehicles you see on the road and at construction sites. We’ll have giveaways until supplies last! The event will be horn free from 11:30 am – 12:00 pm at Maryknoll Park.

 

 

 


Big Trucks – Family Aquatic Center
May 4 in Palatine

Does your child like trucks? Here’s a perfect opportunity for your child to see trucks and other vehicles up close and sit in the driver’s seat. Some of the vehicles may include a fire truck, police car, school bus, dump truck, and many more. Free at Family Aquatic Center from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.

 

 

 


Free Comic Book Day – Arlington Heights Memorial Library
May 4 in Arlington Heights

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library! Visit us in the Marketplace for free comic books for all ages: adults, kids and teens, while supplies last. Free.

 

 

 


“Build It!” at Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago
May and June in Glenview

Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago celebrates the return of the popular temporary exhibit “Build It!,” a larger than life collection of building blocks that allow children to explore their creativity while learning about architecture, science, and storytelling.

 

 

 


Parent-Tot Open Gym – Leisure Center
May 6, 8, 13, 15 in Northbrook

Bring your kids to jump, bounce, run and make new friends at the indoor playground. They can exercise and play with balls, mats and hula hoops. Gym time is parent-supervised – there is no attendant on duty. Check in at the front desk before entering the gym. No food or drink is allowed in the gym. New fee! 10 punches for $35 – drop-in fee is $5 per child.
