Sea Lion Aquatic Park Opening Day – Lisle Park District

17 Attractions = Outdoor Fun for the Whole Family! With two 50’ body flume slides, two drop slides, two water cannons, kid slide, dragon walking pad, splash playground, waterfall, sand play area, baby pool, leisure pool, vortex pool, zero depth pool, lap pool, hot tub and more, there’s something fun for everyone!
Cori’s Kids Triathlon – Oak Brook Park District

Kids LOVE to swim, bike, and run! Let them try a triathlon! This friendly competition promotes exercise in a fun and energetic way. Kids ages 6-14 will show off their skills and athleticism by participating in the three traditional triathlon events: swimming, biking and running. Event sponsored by the Cori Sikich Foundation.
Madagascar – A Musical Adventure Jr.
May 25 – June 1 in Des Plaines
Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore, and an upbeat score, Madagascar Jr. will leave you with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!” Great for young children – a short show with lots of action and animals! Bring the whole family!
Arlington Heights Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
May 28 in Arlington Heights
The 99th annual parade steps off at 9:30 a.m. from Sigwalt Street and Arlington Heights Road, featuring Grand Marshal Al Mampre, a WWII Army veteran who served as a medic in Easy Company. Concludes at Memorial Park, where a ceremony will be held.
Mount Prospect Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
May 28 in Mount Prospect
Parade begins at about 9:40 a.m. in front of Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson Street. The parade route is as follows: south on Emerson Street to Lincoln Street to the Veterans’ Memorial Band Shell at Lions Park for a special ceremony.
