Chicago Dogs vs. Gary SouthShore Railcats
May 18th and 19th in Rosemont

Join the Chicago Dogs as they take on the Gary SouthShore Railcats at Impact Field in Rosemont. Fans can enjoy a post-game fireworks extravaganza on Saturday and pregame autographs from their favorite players on Family Sunday. Chicago Dogs games welcome fans of all ages for a one-of-a-kind experience where every day is fan appreciation day.

 

 

 


Troll Hunt – The Morton Arboretum

Troll sightings have been reported in the woods of The Morton Arboretum! Six colossal creatures and a hideout have all been spotted, but why have these giant trolls made their home at the Arboretum and what do they want to know about us?

 

 

 


Children’s Build a Bird House – The Wildbird Shack
May 18 in Mount Prospect

Awaken your child to the wonders of birding while learning the essentials of ecology. The workshop includes: Birdhouse or Feeder kit, tools, paint, instruction refreshments & snacks. Fly on in for fun! $45.00 per team.

 

 

 


Civil War Days – Naper Settlement
May 18-19 in Naperville

This family-friendly event features food, fun, music, and shopping on “Sutler’s Row” for traditional Civil War-era reproduction products. The battle begins at 2:30 PM each day.

 

 

 


Chocolate Fest – Historic Downtown Long Grove
May 17-19 in Long Grove

In addition to a classic carnival with old school thrills, the Kids Zone gives younger folks old school entertainment too, including the illustrious chocolate pie-eating contest. $5 per person, children 12 and under no charge.
