World War II Day – Elk Grove Park District

See re-enactors representing various armed forces of World War II ‘encamped’ on the museum campus. Learn about the greatest conflict in world history and how the home front contributed to the war effort such as victory gardens and scrap drives.

Experience the nostalgic drive-in movie event at Sunset Park. Join us at dusk on Saturday, June 24 at Sunset Park for a showing of the animated hit, “Sing”. Parking opens at 7:30pm, movie starts at dusk.

This “Granddaddy” of Illinois festivals features a host of family-friendly activities with live musical entertainment, a carnival, Kids’ Day fun, Grand Parade, Sweden Väst, Geneva’s Got Talent, the state’s largest Music Competition.
