Stroll the museum grounds and experience an expanded magical holiday lights celebration! Presented by Naperville Sunrise Rotary, the display features a number of large holiday-themed figures and lighted trees.
Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Co. Holiday Lights Tour
December 16-23, 26 in Chicago
Our tour starts at the John Hancock Center’s spectacular tree at the top of the Magnificent Mile. Over the next 2 1/2 hours, our festive trolleys make two stops to let you hop off and explore the magic of Chicago’s lights and sights.
A Christmas Story: The Musical – Citadel Theatre
Through December 18 in Lake Forest
This musical received rave reviews on its Broadway run and is based on the movie classic. Set in the 1940s, it follows Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts—an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle.
Free Holiday Hotdogs with Santa at Boomers Stadium

Mark your calendar for Friday, December 16 as the Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, invite you to Boomers Stadium from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for free refreshments and photo opportunities with Santa and mascot Coop for our annual Hotdogs with Santa holiday event.
This week’s Friday Fun Five is sponsored by “Spotlight Youth Theater“.
