The Swissôtel Chicago Santa Suite will be open to the public on select days and times, through Dec. 23. As Santa’s calendar is always subject to change, would-be visitors are encouraged to check the latest schedule at www.swissotel.com/chicago, before leaving home. Recently leaked for 2016 was Santa’s VIP Santa Suite guest list which, having in previous years included Santa’s reindeer and the original Christmas Elves, this year pinpoints fellow legendary figures Mother Nature, Father Time, The Easter Bunny, Cupid, The Sandman and The Tooth Fairy.
Places for these fabled guests, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus, will be set at the Santa Suite’s elegantly-appointed dinner table, and six of the suite’s 12 magnificent Christmas trees will be decorated in their honor. From top to bottom, Santa’s helpers are ensuring no stocking is left unstuffed, transforming the five-room Presidential Suite into a stunningly whimsical hideaway suitable for the Man of the Season. Seasonal décor will be accented with a host of magical details, including Santa’s trademark red suits and boots lined up in the closet and signature pipe next to his favorite armchair.
There’ll be guided tours of the Santa Suite conducted by Santa’s certified elves, a letter-writing station for leaving holiday wish lists, complimentary treats, and a keepsake gift for all children on the “nice list.” Guests who post or tweet a photo of their Santa Suite visit using the hashtag #SwissSantaSuite will automatically be entered to win a number of prizes, including a one-night stay at Swissôtel Chicago.
The Santa Suite is also available for private group tours and holiday receptions for up to 100 people.
