Chicago Dogs Baseball – Star Wars Night
August 23 in Rosemont

Feel the Force at Star Wars Night on Friday, August 23rd with Chicago Dogs Baseball. Pregame costume parade, backpack giveaway to the first 1,500 kids and your favorite Star Wars characters on site. Post-game kids run the bases.

 

 


Back to School Party – FireZone
August 17 in Schaumburg

Join us for a Back to School party filled with fire fighters, fire trucks, Legos, crafts, giveaways and more! We will be hosting a vendor fair, so parents come ready to shop while the kids play! Come hungry, as we will have a the food trailer, Moonshots, serving their famous hotdogs!

 

 

 


Kids Concerts: Laurie Berkner – Ravinia Festival
August 17 in Highland Park

Kids Concerts: Laurie Berkner. | Ravinia Festival is the oldest outdoor music festival in the United States with a series of outdoor concerts and performances held every summer from June to September.

 

 

 


Kids Nature Funfest – Greenbelt Cultural Center
August 18 in North Chicago

This event is a Lake County Nature Network initiative, dedicated to improving children’s physical, social and emotional well-being through outdoor play and exploration. Numerous community partners will share nature activities and crafts.

 

 

 


Wilmot Raceway Racing – Kenosha County Fairgrounds
August 16 – 17, 24, 31 in Wilmot, WI

Wilmot Raceway – located at the Kenosha County Fairgrounds – is a 3/8-mile clay, semi-banked oval. Enjoy motorsports entertainment on select dates, April through October. Schedule subject to change (and weather dependent).
