Christmas Train on the East Troy Railroad – East Troy Railroad Museum

A winter time visit to Cosley Zoo has become a family tradition for many. Make it one of yours! Cosley Zoo is transformed into a winter wonderland with 20,000 twinkling lights creating spectacular displays, an amazing selection of Christmas trees for you to purchase, hot chocolate, and holiday gifts.

The 2017 Vernon Hills Holiday Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony will be held at the Vernon Hills Golf Course located at 291 Evergreen Drive on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 4:30 p.m.

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t belong, just be glad you’re not William “Buddy” Hobbes. When he was a baby, Buddy crawled into Santa’s sack of presents and was whisked away to the North Pole where he lived as an elf for years.
