Kids Klassics Film Series: Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory

Each screening will be followed by a fun and educational talkback to engage young audiences to think about films in a new way. Hosted by Chicago film critic, blogger for ‘Every Movie Has a Lesson,’ and educator Don Shanahan, who will lead an interactive discussion.



How to Ride a Bike (6-9 Years Old) – Vernon Hills High School
April 8 in Vernon Hills

Is your child struggling to learn how to ride their bike? Through step by step, engaging activities we’ll help them with their cycling. REI kid-friendly instructors will provide a combination of personalized and group instruction.



The Great Midwest Train Show – DuPage County Fairgrounds
April 8 in Wheaton

The Great Midwest Train Show began in 1972 and is the world’s largest monthly train show with an average of 180 exhibitors at each show. The show features trains of all scales and gauges.
