Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve Events 2018

Looking for a family-friendly place to celebrate the New Year? Check out these events, which let you ring in “midnight” with your kids, then get home and tuck them into bed long before your own celebration. Cheers to a Healthy and Happy 2018!

Bubble Bash 2017 presented by DuPage Children’s Museum

Bubble Bash 2017 is THE place for families to ring in the New Year and is an important fundraiser for the Museum. This annual year-end celebration, now in its 15th year, has become a holiday tradition for families to celebrate together at DuPage Children’s Museum. Pre-registration is required. $20/members $25/non-members

Enjoy together a fantastic dinner & dessert buffet, live music by 45 RPM, inflatables, tot play area, miniature golf, and of course, a fabulously fun countdown to midnight (8pm). Fee is per person and all children must be with adult. Register by Dec. 23. Ages 2 & up. $20 Residents / $22 Nonresident.

Simkus Recreation Center, 849 W. Lies Rd. Get an early start on the party at CSPD’s countdown to Noon party! Dance to the music with our disc jockey! Games, crafts, dancing and balloon drop are all part of the fun. Festive snacks and fun dessert. A parent/guardian is free but required to stay at the event. Ages 1-5. Early Bird Fee by Dec. 26: $7/Resident, $9/Nonresident; Fee after Dec. 26: $11/Resident, $14/Nonresident.

Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 E. Thacker St. Our festive Family New Year’s celebration features party hats, noisemakers, challenging games, free family photos, crafts, entertainment and a DJ! Plus a giant confetti drop! It’s fun for the whole family! $8 per person when you register on or before December 30. $12 per person when you register on December 31.

Boulder Point Zero Boulder Hill Pass. Ring in the NOON year with this family friendly event where kids of all ages can enjoy New Year’s Eve! Burn off some energy playing in the gym, or take a rest to make a party favor or grab a snack. This NOON year will be complete with a countdown and balloon drop at noon. We’re transforming an entire wing of the Museum into a giant Times Square style party with the biggest confetti drop you’ve ever seen! Children’s concert and dance party, hat making and horns, family photos, free hair styling from KidSnips, and a Times Square-style confetti drop! Tickets are $33 per person; $23 for members.

New Years Eve Family Bowling Party

Funway, 1335 S. River St. Batavia. We are hosting to separate bowling parties on New Years Eve. The first is 5-7pm (Check in at 4:45pm) and the second 7:30-9:30pm (Check in at 7:15pm). The party includes Two hours of bowling, shoe rental, 1 pizza and pitcher of pop per lane, color pin games for prizes, party hats & horns, balloon drop with prizes, glow stick for kids, family photo, music and hours of fun!

Make crafts and play games to ring in the New Year and enjoy snacks in the Cultural Arts Wing, Bounce on inflatables in the Mini-Gym then end the morning’s festivities with a massive balloon drop in the main lobby at noon!
