Chicago families have so many ways to have fun this Easter! You can hunt for eggs in the dark and in the pool and even with your dog! Visit with the Easter Bunny at breakfast, or brunch, or in the pool! Take your pick and go make Easter memories!

Flashlight Egg Hunt

Round Lake Area Park District, 814 Hart Road. The Easter Bunny is making a nighttime special delivery of goodies and treats. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served after the egg hunt. Please dress for the weather, this event will be held outdoors. Hunt will start at 8 pm. Ages 9-12 years. $5/person.

Howard Leisure Center, 6676 W. Howard St. Celebrate Spring with a buffet breakfast with Bunny at the Howard Leisure Center. Bunny will be available for a photo opportunity; entertainment and craft project included. 2 seatings: 9 and 10:30 am. $10 Resident, $12 Non-Resident per person.

Park Place, 406. W. Woodstock St. While you are enjoying a traditional breakfast buffet, the Easter Bunny will hop through the room making stops at each table. After making rounds, the Bunny will be seated so you can take a photo. There will be small crafts available for children 2 years and older. Each family member must be pre-registered. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No reserved seats. $12 Per Person ( 2 Years and Under-Free).

Egg Scramble

Round Lake Area Park District SportsCenter, 2004 Municipal Way Come visit us for our annual Egg Scramble at the Sports Center. We will have demo classes, pictures with Mr. Bunny, crafts and of course our egg hunts. Pre-register to reserve your spot. Egg hunt bags will be provided. All proceeds will benefit the FUNds for Recreation Scholarship Program. Thank you to our event sponsor, Knauz BMW! $1/child.

Doggy Egg Hunt

AL Hattendorf Center, 225 E. Elk Grove Blvd. Sign your family dog up for the annual egg hunt. Plastic eggs with doggy treats will be hidden all over the Al Hattendorf grounds. If your dog sniffs the egg, they get to keep it. In addition, dogs will take a photo with their best friend. An agility course will be available and each dog will receive a giveaway. All dogs must be leashed. Pre-registration is required, walk up registrations will not be accepted. $15 per dog.

Flashlight Egg Hunt & Hayride 
Randall Oaks Recreation Center – Parking Lot 500 N. Randall Rd., West Dundee
The adventure begins in the parking lot of Randall Oaks Recreation Center, where we will load the hay wagon* and head out to Randall Oaks Park for the hunt at the Community Shelter area. Children will need to bring their own flashlight with fresh batteries. Following the hunt, children will be taken back on the wagon to the starting point.

Egg-citing Crafty Kids Fest

Algonquin Egg Hunt

There will be 10,000 eggs for participants to pick up as quickly as possible! All participants must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. To ensure safety, participants will be grouped by age. There is no pre-registration for the hunt, and we will begin promptly at 10:00am.

Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave. Children of all ages will have a hopping good time at an old-fashioned egg hunt. Everyone is welcome and the event is free. The event will be held in the main gym.

Lake Zurich Retired Firefighters Association Hall, 77 South Old Rand Road. It’s going to be an Eggs-travaganza this year with our returning Breakfast with the Easter Bunny event. Before the annual egg hunt, hop on over to the Bunny Hutch (Lake Zurich Retired Firefighters Association Hall) for a buffet (while supplies last) and a visit by the bunny. There will also be photo opportunities with the bunny so be sure to bring a camera. $5/youth ages 2 and up; $7/adult.

Board the hay wagon* at Randall Oaks Zoo for a trip to the hunting field. Once the hunt is complete, your child will return on the wagon to the starting point. After the hunt get a sneak peek at the zoo.

Lisle Community Park Bandshell, 1825 Short St. Bring your basket for this annual tradition! Children will hunt for colorful eggs by age groups (2 & Under, 3-5, 6-10) in different areas of the park. Prizes will be given to those who find the golden eggs. Kids can pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Dress for the weather. Resident/Nonresident Fee By March 31: $5/$8, After March 31: $7/$10, On April 8: $10.

Pavilion Aquatics Center, 1000 Wellington Ave. Grab a basket and hop on over to the Pavilion Aquatics Center to collect some Easter eggs, swim, play games and meet the Easter Bunny. Trade your collected eggs for fun prizes as we splash and swim in the Lagoon pool and take pictures with our bunny buddy. Pre-registration is required. Deadline is April 1. Parents must register with their children. Child-$8 Adult-$6.

Bring a basket or bag to collect your eggs and your camera to get a picture with the spring bunny. Held outdoors so dress for the weather. Ages 1-2 start at 10 am, ages 3-4 at 10:15 am and ages 5-6 at 10:30 am. No registration required. Rain date is April 15. Free.

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt

Oak Brook Park District 1450 Forest Gate Road. Join the Oak Brook Park District for an awesome Egg Hunt in the water! Kids ages 1-12 will gather colorful eggs stuffed with prizes as they float on the surface of the pool at the award winning indoor Family Aquatic Center. The Egg Hunts will take place in waves based on age group at 10am and participants are invited to meet the Bunny afterwards!
